Mary Sue Bowers, age 76 of Henry, died Friday, February 4, 2022, at her residence.
Mary Sue and her husband owned and operated the CJ Bowers Dog Supply Co, that later turned into a company that made pillows for tanning beds. She enjoyed talking to her friends, sewing, and playing with her dogs. She attended the New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
Born August 11, 1945, in Mansfield, she was the daughter of the late Walter Ray and the late Nellie French Ray.
She was married to Charles Bowers who preceded her in death in 2012.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Kay Roberts; a brother, Roy Lee Ray both of Henry; and six nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, Johnny Bowers, a sister, Lola Alice Bailey; and two brothers, Charles Veltman Ray, and Franklin Dale Ray.
Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St., Paris, TN 38242, will be handling the arrangements. In accordance with Mary Sue’s wishes, there will be a graveside service held Monday, February 7, 2022, at 2 pm at the New Bethel Cemetery in Henry.
