Mary Nell Wimberley

Mary Nell Wimberley, age 83, of Buchanan, TN, died Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, TN.
Mary Nell retired as office manager for Dr. Garry Grimes, DDS after 23 years. She was a member of McDavid Grove Baptist Church where she was song leader for 30 years. She formerly worked at Holley Carburetor Plant and loved spending time with her church, her family, and especially her Grandchildren.
She was born February 10, 1933 in Dresden, TN, the daughter of the late Chili Buford Hooper and the late Ethel Lorine Maddox Hooper.
Mary Nell was married on June 30, 1963 to Bailey Smith Wimberley of Buchanan, and he survives. She is also survived by her three daughters, Charlotte (Jimmy) Hudgins of Paris, TN, Tammy (Doug) Muench of Paris, TN, and Denise Foust of Paris, TN; one son, Danny (Sue) Brown of Port Hueneme, CA; one sister, Ethel Lou Hooper Hall of Paris, TN; 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Bailey Smith Wimberley Jr.; sisters, Lavergne Hooper Rogers and Era Mae Hooper Conger; brothers, Joseph Hooper, Elmo Garrett Hooper, James Hooper, and John Hooper; and a great grandchild, Nathan Hudgins.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN where the visitation will be from 4 – 8 pm Saturday, October 29, 2016 and from 12 - 2 pm Sunday, October 30, 2016. The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 2:00 pm Sunday, October 30, 2016 with Bro. Ray Whitlow officiating.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Hudgins, Ben Brown, Jonathan Hudgins, Jesse Cooley, Micah Brown, Philip Robinson, Will Foust, J.T. Hudgins, Brett Dowdy, Seth Hudgins, Alex Dowdy, Isaac Brown, Joseph Hudgins, Owen Brown, Andrew Brown, Noah Robinson, Ezra Robinson, Memphis Tharpe, and Waylon Dowdy.
Honorary Pallbearers are Jill Dowdy, Jennifer Robinson, Keturah Weathers, Katie Foust, Courtney Hudgins, Emily Brown, Allison Brown, Anna Grace Livingston, and Lindsey Hudgins.
Interment will follow in Poplar Grove Cemetery in Springville, TN.
