Mary McCollum Campbell, age 62 of Paris, TN, died Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris.
She formerly worked as a unit secretary at Henry County Medical Center for several years. She loved cats, riding her motorcycle, singing karaoke, and enjoyed making chocolate candies for different occasions. She loved spending time with her great nephews, and especially her great niece, Mayva'leigh who was like a granddaughter to her. She was Baptist by belief.
Mary was born June 2, 1959, in Hastings, MI, to her father, the late Robert McCollum, and her mother, Betty Purser McCollum Thomas and her husband Ray who both survive of Paris, TN
She married Jeffery “Tex” Campbell on April 13, 2013 and he preceded her in death on September 30, 2017.
Along with her mother and stepfather, she is also survived by her stepson, Jeff Leedle of Haines City, FL; one sister, Diane Byrns of Henry, TN; two nieces, Samantha Eggers and Charli Eggers; one great niece, Mayva’Leigh Eggers; and five great nephews, Maleque Jackson, Marrius Jackson, Kaison Eggers, Keilen Eggers, and Kannon Eggers.
In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Tommy Thomas.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242. The body is to be cremated. Memorial visitation will be Thursday, October 21, 2021, from 2:00 – 3:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the memorial service beginning at 3:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Craig Peevyhouse officiating.
