Mary Lou Roberts

Mary Lou Roberts, age 84 of Paris, TN, died Saturday, August 15, 2020, at her residence.

She retired after 20 years from Henry County Medical Center as a registered nurse.  She then went on to teach practical nursing at the Henry County Vo-Tech School for 21 years.  Mary Lou was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Martha Chapter 155 in Paris, where she served as pianist for many years.  She liked to crochet and travel and enjoyed taking trips with her husband after retirement.

Mary Lou was born November 13, 1935, in Paris, TN, to the late James Myers Henry and the late Mary S. Palmer Henry.

She was married November 25, 1954, to her husband of 65 years, Felix Everett Roberts, who survives, of Paris, TN.

Along with her husband, she is also survived by her two daughters, Beth Roberts of Paris, TN, and Helen Roberts-Niemi (Larry) of Cottage Grove, TN; one brother-in-law, Joe D. (Martha) Roberts of Lebanon, TN; special friend, Jerry Hamlin; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  A private, family graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at Palestine Cemetery in Paris, TN, with Craig Peevyhouse officiating.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Burial will follow the graveside service in Palestine Cemetery.
