Mary Ann Shankle

Mary Ann Shankle age 71 of Henry died Friday, July 12, 2019, at the AHC Healthcare Center in Paris.

She was a retired LPN from the Paris Healthcare Center (now AHC).  Mary Ann enjoyed watching TV and thoroughly loved her work. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church.

Born May 26, 1948 in Humboldt, TN, she was the daughter of the late Fred G. and Melvie M. Blankenship Allen.

Survivors include her daughter, Michelle (Shawn) Helton of Henry; a son, Stacey (Rita Hudgins) Winchester of Paris; her stepmother, Nancy Allen of Paris; a sister, Thesia (Steve) Keith of Colorado; a brother, Larry G. (Charlotte) Allen of Portland, TN; seven grandchildren, Ryan (Delilah) Page, Reed Hedges, Carley Helton, Tyler Helton, Emily Helton, Brady Winchester and Grant Winchester; and six great grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Bernice Dial.

Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St., Paris, TN, will be handling the arrangements. The body is to be cremated with no formal services planned per Mary Ann’s wishes.
