Mary Alice Puckett

Mary Alice Puckett, age 90 of Paris, TN, died Sunday, April 25, 2021, at Henry County Healthcare Center in Paris.

She retired after many years from D-Tex in Texas as a supervisor.  Mary Alice enjoyed crocheting, watching baseball, and loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Mary Alice was born February 11, 1931, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Walter Worley and the late Mabel Tipton Worley.

She was married April 26, 1947, to Billy Ray Puckett, who preceded her in death on August 28, 2012.

She is survived by her three children, George (Lorraine) Puckett of Springville, TN, Scott Puckett of Cary, IL, and Kelly (Dale) Puckett of Ridgely, TN; two sisters, Faye (Harold) Reynolds of Palmersville, TN, and Hazel Albright of Knoxville, TN; one brother, James (Wanda) Worley of Knoxville, TN; six grandchildren, Shawn (Amanda) Puckett, Michael (Stacia) Puckett, Garrett Puckett, Tracey (Shane) Hermann, Kelly (Mary Beth) Puckett, and Lee Ann (Frankie) Carroll; and nine great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Theresa Puckett; and one sister, Dana Bolding.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  A graveside service will be held Friday, April 30, 2021, at 11:00 am at Birds Creek Cemetery in the Whitlock community of Paris, with Jon Morris officiating.

Grandsons and Grandsons-in-law will serve as pallbearers.

Burial will follow the graveside service in Birds Creek Cemetery
