Mary Rapp

Mary Frances Rapp, age 79 of Henry, TN, died Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, TN.

She was a homemaker who was known as the sweet lady with blue hair.  Mary enjoyed crafting and shopping, especially at Hobby Lobby.  She loved Texas, cows, birds, flowers, and angels.  She was Baptist by belief.

Mary was born July 28, 1940, in Lamesa, TX, to the late Carl Ruben Jeter and the late Elizabeth Maxine Boswell Jeter.

She was married September 11, 1991, to Charles Rapp, Jr., who preceded her in death on February 24, 2019.

She is survived by her daughters, Frances (Tom) Bates of Henry TN, Becka (Link) Stanfield of Brownwood, TX, and Diane (Daniel) Stinson of Scottsville, KY; one brother, Carl Ruben (Stephanie) Jeter, Jr. of Centerpoint, TX; 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one son, Joe Edward Bradford; and one brother, Tom Jeter.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St., Paris, TN, 38242. Visitation will be Saturday, February 1, 2020, from 9:00 am – 11:00 am at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 am at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Brian Wimberley officiating.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in Paris, TN.
