Mary Medlock

Mary Sue Medlock, age 90, of Paris, Tenn., died Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Henry County Healthcare Center in Paris, Tenn.

She was married January 11, 1953 to James Henry "J.H." Medlock Jr. and he preceded in death May 24, 2002.

Sue was a member of Jones Chapel Baptist Church & former Sunday School teacher.  She was a former co- owner and operator of  Medlock Grocery, with her husband.

She was born September 15, 1923 in Springville, TN to the late Marvin Fitch and the late Pearl Wimberley  Fitch.

She is survived by her  One Daughter,  Charlotte (Whitney) Curtis of Kenton, Tenn; Granddaughter, Susan (Alan) Penn of Kenton, TN;  Three Step Grandchildren, Richard Curtis, Whitney Curtis, and Elizabeth Ann Bisceglia.

She was also preceded in death by 3 sisters and 1 Brother.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Friday, April 11, 2014 and after 11 am Saturday, April 12, 2014.   The  Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 3:30 pm Saturday, April 12, 2014.

Malcolm Norton will officiate.

Pallbearers will be: Jimmy Keith VanDyke, Scott Jackson, Craig Jackson, Vince Medlock, Alan Penn, and Gary Moon.

Honorary Pallbearers will be:  Dan Emerson, Phillip Jackson, Johnny Linsman, Dancil Taylor, Danny Williams, Bob Medlock and Wayne Medlock.

Interment will follow in Jones Chapel Cemetery in Paris, Tenn.
