Mary Evadean Hudgins, age 84, of Paris, Tenn., died Monday, January 19, 2015, at Paris Healthcare & Rehab Center in Paris, Tenn.

She was married July 20, 1946 to Milton Ollie Hudgins and he preceded in death October 22, 1993.

She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and the V.F.W. Auxillary.    Evadean formerly worked at Salant & Salant Co. and was a seamstress in her home for the public.    She also loved baking and cooking.

Evadean was born November 5, 1930 in Henry, TN to the late LeAnder Hogan Simmons and the late Ora Lee Ellis Simmons.

She is survived by her  One Daughter,  Lorrie Hudgins of Paris, Tenn;  Three Sons,  James Milton (Charlotte) Hudgins of Paris, Tenn,  Larry Dale (Janice) Hudgins of Paris, Tenn,  Timothy Lee (Gina) Hudgins of Paris, Tenn;  9 Grandchildren;  15 Great Grandchildren;  1 Great-Great Grandchild and Several Nieces & Nephews.

Evadean was also preceded in death by her Step Mother,  Rue Simmons;  Sisters,  Dathel Simmons & Dorothy Bomar;  Brother,  George Simmons; and Great Grandchild,  Nathan Paul Hudgins.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St. Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 4 – 7 pm Tuesday, January 20, 2015 and after 9 am Wednesday, January 21, 2015.  The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 10:30 AM Wednesday, January 21, 2015.

John Smith of Fairview Baptist Church will officiate.    Pallbearers will be Richard Hudgins, Andrew Garrigus,  J.T. Hudgins,  Ronnie Conger,  Jeremiah Cole, Jamie Hudgins,  and Alex Dowdy.

Interment will be at Bevil Cemetery in Paris, Tenn.
