Mary Eubanks, age 84, of Paris, TN, died Friday, March 17, 2017, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, TN.
Mary was a member of Paris First United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Ambassador’s Sunday school class. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting and reading.
She was born May 23, 1932, in Shawnee Township, IL, to the late Fred Crist Gunzel and the late Catherine Seeley Gunzell.
She was married May 30, 1951, to Earl Eugene Eubanks, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by two daughters, Karen Eubanks Eldred of Orland Park, IL, and Cindy Eubanks (David) Lowe of Paris, TN; two brothers, Dan (Barb) Gunzel of Portland, OR, and Alfred Gunzel of Harriburg, IL; three grandchildren, Joshua Wayne (Lora) Lowe of Austin, TX, Mary Catherine Lowe of Nashville, TN, and Paul David Lowe of Austin, TX; and two great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Ann Lowe and Carl Vaughn Lowe both of Austin, TX.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Lula Mae Pierson and Dottie Katherine Gunzel; and one brother Fred Crist Gunzel, Jr.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN where the memorial visitation will be Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. A graveside memorial service is planned for Saturday, March 25, 2017, at Jackson Cemetery in Ridgeway, IL, with burial to follow.
Dr. Rob Martin will officiate.
