Mary Katherine Clary

Mary Katherine Clary, age 75 of Paris, TN, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Life Care Center of Bruceton-Hollow Rock.  

She was born in Paris, TN, on June 24, 1949, to the late James William Clary and the late Marie Katherine Hudgins Clary. 

Mary was a devoted member of the Baptist faith. She spent several years working at Holley Carburetor before retiring from Dana Inc. In her free time, she loved playing bingo, trying her luck at the slots, and watching Wheel of Fortune. Above all, she treasured the moments shared with her family. 

Mary is survived by one daughter, Doris (Billy) Rittenhouse of Buena Vista, TN; two brothers, William Clary of Paris, TN, and James Ronald Clary of Cottage Grove, TN; two grandchildren, Ashley (Troy) Turner, and Christy (Chris) McColgan; and five great-grandchildren, Cameron, Madelyn, Daphne, Casey, and Rory. 

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, John Wayne Surles; one sister, Glenda Lowe; and one brother, Ricky Clary. 

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. Her remains are to be cremated. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, March 7, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with a Celebration of Life to be held at 10:00 a.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Chad Kennedy officiating.
