Martha Joy Joyner, age 72, of Paris, Tenn., died Sunday, May 8, 2016, at Paris Healthcare & Rehab Center in Paris, Tenn.
She was a Retired Pipefitter with Standard Oil in Richmond, CA. She enjoyed making porcelin dolls, reading, watching black and white movies and she also loved vacations.
She was born July 20, 1943 in Paris, TN to the late Douglas Bratton and the late Lillian Clark Bratton.
She is survived by her one Daughter, Cheryl (Jim) Christopher of Benicia, Calif; two Sons, Terry (Donna) Joyner of Tracy, Calif, and John Joyner of Paris, Tenn; two Brothers, Junior (Sue) Bratton of Mansfield, Tenn, and Robert Gene (Linda) Bratton of Paris, Tenn; and one Grandson, Jacob Joyner and Special Friend Miss Alex Van Zuiden of Stockton, CA.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, Tenn.
She is to be cremated with a Gathering of family and friends from 10 – 11 am Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Oak Hill Union Church on Hwy 69 North of Paris. A Graveside Gathering will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery at 11:00 am Saturday, May 14, 2016..
