Martha Jane Bolding

Martha Jane Bolding, age 80 of Paris, TN, died Friday, July 26, 2019, at her residence.

Jane was a retired military wife for many years. She was a member of the Garden Club, a Master Gardener, and was a former president of the Republican Woman’s Club. She was instrumental establishing the neighborhood association on Poplar Street in Paris. She was Christian in faith.

Jane was born April 20, 1939, in Henderson, TN, to the late Henry Frank Hailey and the late Ruby Valena Hollingsworth.

She married on July 27, 1957, to Larry Bolding, who survives of Paris, TN.

Along with her husband, she is survived by her one daughter, Kathy Scira of Paris, TN; one son, Andy (Emily) Bolding of Springville, TN; one sister, Mary “Lee” Hailey King of Paducah, KY; one brother-in-law, Mark (Pat) Bolding of Paris, TN; two grandchildren, John Francis (Amy) Scira of Cambridge, MA, and Alexander Lawson Scira of Paris, TN; one great grandchild, Erin Trevathan of Huntingdon, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her one sister, Neda Sinclair; and one grandchild, Andrew Lawson Bolding, Jr.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN. The body is to be cremated.  A Celebration of Life will be held, Saturday, August 10, 2019, from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm at the Paris Henry County Heritage Center, 614 North Poplar Street, Paris, TN 38242.
