Martha Jane Conger Hobby, age 85, of Paris, Tenn., died Sunday, October 25, 2015, at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.
Martha married Henry Willis Hobby June 24, 1965 and he preceded in death April 9, 2013.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church and was an L.P.N. at Henry County Medical Center for over 30 years. She formerly worked at Salant & Salant and Woolworth in Paris, TN. She also enjoyed traveling, shopping and reading.
She was born March 1, 1930 in Paris, TN to the late Josiah Conger and the late Nellie Ruth Green Conger.
Martha is survived by her One Daughter, Jane (Abe) Ewing of Monroe, Ga; Three Sons, Mitch (Tammy) Hobby of Paris, Tenn, Donald (Kathy) Redden of Paris, Tenn, Kelley (Teresa) Redden of Springville, Tenn; Four Grandchildren, Staci (Jason) Beecham, Tim Boone, Christina McNally, and Steven (Sam) Lexa; Five Great Grandchildren, Brandon Redden, Dawson Charles, Malia Boone, Taylor Boone, and James Henry Lexa; and Special Niece, Patsy (Jerry) Evans.
Besides her Husband and Parents, she was also preceded in death by a Sister, Lucille Parrish; and Brothers, James Robert Conger and William Joseph Conger.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 4 – 7 pm Tuesday, October 27, 2015 and from 12 – 2 pm Wednesday, October 28, 2015. The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 28, 2015.
Dr. Robert Martin will officiate. Pallbearers will be Don Parker, Hansel McCadams, Brian Tusa, Phil Craig, Jimmy Clendenin, and Larry Conger.
Interment will follow in Bethesda Cemetery in Paris, Tenn.
