Marie Dicus

Marie Long Dicus, age 67, of Paris, Tenn., died Sunday, October 13, 2013, at Alive Hospice at St. Thomas Hosp. in Nashville, Tenn.  She was Married June 22, 1963 to Harold Eugene Dicus and he survives.

Maris was a Member of West Wood Pentecostal Church of God, A devoted wife, who loved her family, and a dedicated church worker who loved her church family.

She was the daughter of the late Cliff Long and the late Ruby Lee  Long.

She is also survived by One Daughter, Debra Lynn (Tony) Hughes of Newbern, Tenn.; Two Sons, Johnnie Lewis Dicus of Lavergne, Tenn., and Jeffrey Eugene (Deanna) Dicus of Henry, Tenn.; One Brother, David Dwayne Long of Paris, Tenn.; and 5 Grandchildren, Arianna "Anna" Dicus, Ivy Dicus, Megan Hughes, Ethan Dicus, and Allison "Alli" Dicus.

Marie was preceded in death by a brother, Grover Long and a Grandson, Logan Hughes who died October 12, 2013.

Visitation will be at Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, October 15, 2013 and after 10:00 AM Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at West Wood Pentecostal Church of God. The Funeral service will be at West Wood Pentecostal Church of God at 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 16, 2013.

Joe Page & Tommie Dicus will  officiate.

Interment will be at Memorial Cemetery in Paris, Tenn.
