Marian Aline Phillips, 96, Paris, passed into Heaven with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 8, 2014 at Signature Health Care of Clarksville, TN.
Visitation will take place at Friday December 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home in Paris with her Celebration of Life service held at 12:00 noon, with her grandson-in-law, Rev. Logan Creasy, officiating.
Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery, Mayfield KY, at 2:00 p.m Friday.
She was born on August 2, 1918, in Mayfield, KY, daughter of the late W. H. Reed and Laura Carr Reed. She was preceded in death by nine sibblings and her husband of 67 years, Macon Phillips.
Mrs. Phillips was a devout, Godly Christian and member of West Paris Baptist Church, serving in various leadership positions for many years. She was known as a prayer warrior and committed homemaker. In October of 2013 Marian was inducted into the Signature Health Care Hall of Fame for having distributed over 50 Bibles to residents and employees.
She is survived by her son, Jim (Ann) Phillips of Clarksville, TN, and two grandaughters, Melody ( Rev.Logan) Creasy and Jamie (Rev. Jason) Durant, and four great grandchildren, the joy of her life!
