Margaret James

Margaret James, age 62 of Puryear, TN, died Sunday, February 22, 2020, at the Henry County Medical Center.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed watching TV, crossword puzzles, playing bingo, and spending time with her family and friends.  In her earlier years, she also enjoyed dancing.

Margaret was born March 2, 1957, in LaPorte, IN, to the late Cecil Gribble and the late Averill Heiman.

She is survived by her former husband, Arthur James of LaPorte, IN; her son, Ryan (Anna) James of Puryear; one son-in-law, Kevin Cathey of Puryear; one sister, Carol Hudson of Oak Ridge; several other brothers and sisters; two grandchildren, Aaliyah James and Alexis Bayless; and close family friends, Billy and Bridgett Unruh.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Tiffany James.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, TN 38242.  Visitation will be Saturday, February 29, 2020, from 9:00 am – 10:00 am at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 10:00 am at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Corey Cain officiating.

Cremation will follow the funeral service.
