Margaret Louise “Midge” Horton, age 91, of Paris, Tenn., died Friday, May 20, 2016, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, Tenn.
She was a retired Trust Officer for American Bank in Racine,WI. She was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church, The American Legion, The Pink Ladies at H.C.M.C., and the Welcome Wagon. She was a Veteran of the US Army. Midge also loved gardening, golfing, boating, and reading.
Midge was born May 16, 1925 in Rewey, WI to the late George Friday and the late Elizabeth Preston Friday.
She was married to Peyton Horton and he preceded in death. She is survived by her one Daughter, Janet (Mike) Larson of Mt. Pleasant, Wis; one Son, Richard (LoEtta) Nutt of Racine, Wis; one Sister, Katie Patzke of Racine, Wis; six Grandchildren, Taylor Holbus of Norcross, GA, Jennifer (Tony) Gutierrez of Racine, WI, Jody Rodriguez of Racine, WI, Jim (Courtney) Schroeder of Muskego, WI, Jackie (Andrew) Minatelli of Sanford, FL, and Vaughn Holbus of Memphis, TN; and seven Great Grandchildren.
Besides her Husband and Parents, she was also preceded in death by a Daughter, Beverly Mathis; Sister, Dorothy Jerstad; and Grandchildren, Jamie Lynn Schroeder and Sammy Holbus.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, Tenn. Her body is being donated to science. A Memorial Service will be held at Antioch United Methodist Church at 1:00 pm Thursday, May 26, 2016 with Pastor Linda Hillard officiating.
