Marcia Keane-Scully

A Graveside service is planned for Saturday June 25, 2016 at Puryear City Cemetery at 2:00 pm for Marcia Duncan Keane-Scully.

Marcia Duncan Keane-Scully, age 93, of Hazel, Ky., died Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray, Ky.

Marcia was born February 27, 1923 in Puryear, TN to the late Edna May Atkins Duncan and the late Edmond Ditzler Duncan.

Upon graduating Puryear High School, she married Thomas Gamlin and moved to Chicago, Illinois.   She had one son, Scott Gamlin, who preceded in death.  She is survived by 2 grandchildren, Tracy and Kate Gamlin.  She was later married to Roy Keane and then Mac Scully, who both preceded in death.

Marcia spent most of her life in Chicago as an executive secretary then became the owner of a Dress Shop in Chicago, IL.   In the later years of her life, she moved back to the area where she grew up.  She resided in Hazel, Kentucky until a couple of months prior to her death.

She was also preceded in death by one sister, Loretta Duncan Morris, and five brothers, Fred, Thomas, Cecil (Gene), Max and Jerry Duncan.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn.  She is to be cremated with a Graveside Memorial Service to be held at  Puryear City Cemetery at 2:00 pm Saturday June 25, 2016.
