Former Knott’s Landing Restaurant owner and operator and
Midland Brake retiree Thomas Malcolm Knott Sr., 82, died Thursday,
April 11, 2013, at McKenzie Healthcare.
His wife, Virginia Louise Bell Knott, survives.
They were married in 1951.
A memorial visitation is planned from 5-7 p.m.
today at the Paris Moose Lodge.
The body is to be cremated.
Born April 10, 1931, in Bradford, he was a son of
Walter A. and Pearl Grooms Knott, both deceased.
Knott formerly attended Henry Church of Christ.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge.
He also leaves one daughter: Teresa Louise
(Tony) McCain of McKenzie; three sons: Mikie (Diana)
Knott, Terry (Danielle) Knott and Tony Knott,
all of Paris; one sister: Dorothy Banover of Cincinnati; a special
niece: Claudette (Fred) Lindahl of Paris; 11 grandchildren; and 14
great-grandchildren.
He also was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law: Sharlyn
Sketo Knott; two grandchildren: Josh and Jacob Knott; three
sisters; and five brothers.
