Malcolm Cook

March 11, 1953 — January 2, 2017

Malcolm Dwayne Cook, age 63 of Paris, TN, died Monday January 2, 2017, at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN.

Malcolm was a Baptist and formerly attended the John R. Miller School in Henry County.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, working on puzzles, and watching wrestling.  He was a special friend to many.

Born March 11, 1953 in Paris, TN, Malcolm was the son of the late Otha Claude Cook and the late Beatrice Veltman Boyd Cook.

Malcolm is survived by one sister, Cynthia “Cindy” Cook (Michael Virgil) Noss of Paris, TN; one half brother, Claude Cook of Paris, TN; one niece, Melissa (Blake) Craddock of Paris, TN; one nephew, Russell (Amanda) Noss of Independence, KY; great nieces and nephews, Natalie Baynes, Dylan Baynes, Summer Noss, Taylor Noss, and Hunter Noss; aunt, Betty Boyd Carter of Paris, TN; uncle, Jimmy Boyd of Buchanan, TN; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Malcolm was also preceded in death by a half sister, Shirley Raney and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ridgeway Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Visitation will be at Ridgeway Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 4, 2017, from 11 am – 1 pm.   His funeral service will be Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at 1:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home with Russell Noss, Malcolm’s nephew conducting the service.

Pallbearers will be Allen L. Williams, Dylan Baynes, Blake Craddock, Mike Noss, Hunter Noss, and Russell Noss.  Named as honorary pallbearers are great nieces, Natalie Baynes, Summer Noss and Taylor Noss; and Betty Boyd Carter, and Nellie Canady Williams.

Burial will follow in the Memorial Cemetery in Paris.
