The funeral service for Mable Louise Matlock of the Henry County portion of McKenzie will be at 2 p.m. Saturday  June 8, 2013 at Ridgeway Funeral Home.

Matthew Lucio will officiate. Burial will be in Old Union Primitive Baptist Cemetery at Henry.

Chosen as pallbearers are Kevin Seratt, George Freeman, John Buffalo, Brian Freeman, Buddy Tate, Marion Jones.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday and after 12pm Saturday.

Mrs. Matlock, 81, died Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

Born July 29, 1931, in McKenzie, she was the daughter of the late Tonnie and Izora Glisson Taylor.

She was married on Feb. 2, 1963, to Raymond Cecil Matlock, who died June 25, 2006.
She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church and attended the Seventh-day Adventist Church in South Fulton. A family member said she enjoyed antiquing and short trips.

Survivors are four daughters: Raeann (Kevin) Seratt of Martin, Tresea (John) Buffalo of McKenzie, Angela (Chuck) Barger of Ocala, Fla., and Dorinda (George) Freeman of Jackson; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by a daughter: Vickie Otte; and a son: Van Allen.
