Mabel Lee Tyler age 86, died Friday April 7, 2017, at the Paris Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
Born October 17, 1930, in Landersville, AL, she was the daughter of the late Allen Parker and the late Clara Dunlap Parker. She married Jon “Doc” Tyler February 19, 1948, who died December 1, 1982.
Mabel Lee was a homemaker who was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, listening to gospel music and reading her bible. Ms. Tyler also sat with terminally ill people.
Survivors include four children: Janice (Dale) Brewer of Paris, Penney (Tobey) Nicholson of Springville, Ronald “Doc T” Tyler of Paris and Larry R. Tyler of Pawpaw, MI; 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
Along with her husband and parents, Mabel Lee was preceded in death by four brothers: Ruel J. Parker, Hershel Parker, Billy Ray Parker and Clayton Parker.
Visitation will held be Monday, April 10, 2017 at Ridgeway Funeral Home form 4-7pm and continue on Tuesday, April 11 after 10 am. Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 11 am in LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in Bethesda Cemetery in Paris.
Ryan Tyler, Jon Tyler, Anthony Sanders, Norman Doster, Mark Burnette and Tobey Coosenberry will serve as Pallbearers. Her granddaughters will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
