Luellen “Boots” French, age 85, of Mansfield, Tenn., died Sunday, April 24, 2016, at her residence in Mansfield, Tenn.
She attended Spring Creek Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She enjoyed visiting thrift stores and was known as "Granny" everyone.
Luellen was born October 13, 1930 in Grantsville, WV to the late Lester Richards and the late Willa Ruth Wilson Richards.
She was married on August 9, 1952 to John William French and he preceded in death February 25, 1995. She is survived by her five Daughters, Deanna Running of Mansfield, Tenn, Ada Buie of Mansfield, Tenn, Debbie O'Grady & friend Jerry Butcher of Garrettsville, Ohio, Beverly Canady of Springville, Tenn, and Roxanne (Gary) Fisher of Springville, Tenn; one Step-Son, Gary (Shirley) French of Paris, Tenn; one Sister-in-law, Robbie Jean “Tutti” French of Paris, TN; 10 Grandchildren; 11 Great Grandchildren; and Several Nieces and Nephews.
Besides her Husband and Parents, she was also preceded in death by a Daughter, Wilma Sue French; One Sister; and Three Brothers.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 12 – 2 pm Thursday, April 28, 2016. The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 2:00 pm Thursday, April 28, 2016. Ronnie McClure will officiate and family members will serve as Pallbearers.
Interment will be at Henry Co. Tabernacle Cemetery in Springville, Tenn.
