Lucy Key Hosford, age 95 of Paris, died Saturday, February 23, 2019, at the Paris Healthcare and Rehab Center.
Lucy was a retired LPN. She formerly worked for Dr. J. Ray Smith, the Chesemore Hospital, and the Oak Manor Nursing Home in McKenzie. She graduated from Cottage Grove School in 1941. She was the oldest living member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
She was married to Cleo Summers Hosford on January 10, 1946, and he preceded her in death on February 8, 2018.
Born June 3, 1923 in Paris, she was the daughter of the late Novice Bryan Key and the late Cordelia Smith Key.
She is survived by her son, Bill (Terri) Saylor of Paris, TN; one brother, Paul (Ruth) Key of Paris, TN; four grandchildren, Pam (Frank) Heathman of Hermitage, TN, Brad Saylor of Paris, Alex Herbison of Antioch, TN, and Erin (Steve) Chester of Antioch, TN; and two great grandchildren, Cameron Heathman, and Keiran Chester.
Besides her parents and husband, Lucy was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby Shankle, and Lucille Key; and one brother, Novice Key.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN where visitation will be Tuesday, February 26, 2019 from 10 am – 12 pm. The funeral service will be Tuesday at 12:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home with Mike Wimberley and Dennis Vance officiating.
Pallbearers will be Brad Saylor, Frank Heathman, Jon Trosper, Billy Fitzhugh, James Paschall, and Charles Hopkins.
Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Memory Garden in Paris.
