Former Henry Countian, Lucille Wofford, age 106 of Murray, KY, died Saturday, December 9, 2017, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, KY.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed being with her family and friends. She was an avid reader and liked to crochet. She was Methodist in belief.
Lucille was born October 23, 1911, in Fort Henry, TN, to the late James Wilbur Wofford and the late Lillie Mae Wofford Wofford.
She is survived by one nephew, Ron (Judy) Wofford of Nashville, TN; and several great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and great- great-great nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother, James Leonard Wofford; two nieces, Sherry Crutcher and Jocele Harris; and one nephew, Jim Wofford.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN. The body is to be cremated. Memorial visitation will be Friday, December 15, 2017, from 10:30 am – 11:00 am at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the memorial service beginning at 11:00 am at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Jacob Armstrong officiating.
Burial of cremains will be in Wofford Cemetery in Stewart County, TN.
