Lorraine "Lori" Pillar

Lorraine “Lori” Pillar, age 66 of Springville, TN, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Patriot Healthcare. 

Lori was born on January 3, 1959, in Joliet, IL, to the late Thomas Deane Morris and the late Carol Frey Morris. 

She married Mark Pillar on September 13, 1980. 

Lori worked as a nurse assistant for many years. She cherished time with her grandchildren and loved spending days at the lake. She was also an active member of the American Legion Post and its Women's Auxiliary. 

Along with her husband, she is survived by one son, Douglas S. (Nicole) Pillar of Springville, TN; two grandchildren, Ava Pillar and Easton Pillar; and two brothers, William E. (Diana) Morris of IL, and Wayne D. Morris of IL.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Linda Morris Boatman. 

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, will be handling the arrangements. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 4, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. officiated by Jeff Baker. 

Memorials can be made to American Legion.
