Lois Leonise Heavner, age 63, of Puryear, TN, died Friday, March 17, 2017, at her residence in Puryear, TN.
Lois attended Puryear Baptist Church. She enjoyed woodworking, knitting, painting, and all crafts. She also enjoyed writing poems.
She was born May 19, 1953, in Ft. Worth, TX, to the late Leon V. Thompson and the late Wanda Nichols Thompson.
She is survived by one daughter, Tracie (Donald) Stallings of Paris, TN; one son, Dean (Misty) Heavner of Taylorsville, NC; one sister, Dayle (Mike) Morse of Puryear, TN; one brother, Brian (Sally) Thompson of Puryear, TN; four grandchildren, Joshua Tomblin, Emaleigh Heavner, Savanna Stallings, and Kinslie Stallings; one special aunt, Martha Loosier; and several other aunts and uncles.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN. A graveside service will be Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Foundry Hill Community of Christ Cemetery in Puryear, with Bro. Mike Rhodes officiating.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
Burial will follow in Foundry Hill Community of Christ Cemetery in Puryear, TN.
