L J Northington

L J Northington, age 58 of Paris, TN, died Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Henry County Medical Center.

He was a manager at Tractor Supply in Paris.  He enjoyed fishing and bowling.  L J loved Henry County football and was an avid NASCAR & Dale Earnhardt, Jr. fan.  He was a member of Paris First Church of the Nazarene.

L J was born January 15, 1964, in Aberdeen, MS, to the late Jesse Northington and the late Jessie Northington.

He is survived by his three children, Haley Northington of Memphis, TN, Jesse Northington of Paris, and Travis (Sara) Northington of Clarksville, TN; one brother, Larry Upchurch of St. Petersburg, FL; and three grandchildren, Jessie Northington, Clarissa Northington, and Hunter Tyler.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  Visitation will be Friday, September 23, 2022, from 11:00 am – 1:30 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with a graveside service beginning at 2:00 pm at Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Richard Dakin officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jesse Northington, Travis Northington, and Jonathan Stanford.  Named as an honorary pallbearer is Larry Upchurch

Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in Paris, TN.
