Linda Fay “Susie” Wrye, age 77, of Spring Hill, TN, died Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, TN.
Susie was a member of New Bethel Church of Christ. She formerly worked at Holley Carburetor for over 25 years. She retired from Inman School where she worked in the cafeteria. Susie enjoyed working in her flowers, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was born, October 13, 1947, in Murray, KY to the late Pink Wynn and to the late Allie Mae Chadwick Wynn.
Susie married Carlos Leon Wrye on October 20, 1967, who preceded her in death on October 26, 2011.
She is survived by one daughter, Jinnifer (Chad) Baker of Spring Hill, TN; one son, Jason L. (Tracy) Wrye of Winchester, TN; one sister, Hazel Hays of Cottage Grove, TN; five grandchildren, Kacey Baker, Rylee Baker, Regan Baker, Jessica (Jacob) Gomoljak, and Natalie Gean; one great-grandchild, Laynie Gomoljak.
Besides her husband and parents, she is also preceded in death by one sister, Peggy Phillips and one brother, Jimmy Wynn.
Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. Visitation will be Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Ridgeway Funeral Home from 5 pm – 7 pm and Friday, February 28, 2025, from 12 pm – 2 pm. The funeral service will be Friday at 2:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Charles Cate officiating.
Jimbo Wynn, Les Wynn, Kevin Hays, Mark Lee, Jacob Gomoljak, and Jamie Orr will serve as pallbearers.
Burial will follow in Bethesda Cemetery in Paris, TN.
