Linda Greer

Linda Holloway Greer, age 73 of Henry, died Friday, November 13, 2020, at her home.

Linda was a retired rural route carrier for the United States Postal Service. She formerly was the manager at the Wayne County Sportsman’s Club. She enjoyed gardening, making, and teaching ceramics, and collecting Beanie Babies. Linda attended the Bethlehem Baptist Church.

She was married February 20, 1965, to Nathaniel N. Greer who preceded her in death January 15, 2013.

Born May 12, 1947 in Wyandotte, MI, she was the daughter of the late William Paul and Thelma Louise Dunbar Holloway.

She is survived by three children, Connie (Diane VanDorn) Greer of MI, Nathaniel Paul (Patricia) Greer of Henry, and Tim (Kelly) Trombly of MI; three sisters, Terry (Sam) Dunn, and Lois (Jim) McGonnell both of MI, and Paulette (Bill) McKesson of FL; 10 grandchildren, Jessica Greer, Natalie Greer, Donald (Melaine) Brown, Matthew (Victor) Brown, Melissa (Nick) Brown, Kaelen (Brett) Carrol, Eleanora VanDorn-Greer, Hadden VanDorn-Greer, Owen VanDorn-Greer, and Twyla Smothers; four great grandchildren, Joshua Brown, Josiah Brown, Felicity Brown, and Jack Brightman; her best friend, Allene Allen; and a cousin, Donna Wallace of Parsons.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at 1:00 pm at the Bethlehem Cemetery, with Jacob Allen officiating.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.   Donald Brown, Matthew Brown, and Catch Trombly are named as honorary pallbearers.

Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery located near Henry, TN.
