Lester Crain Riggins age 65 of Paris, died Sunday, July 25, 2021, at his residence.
Lester retired after working 20 years as Sergeant from the Henry County Sheriffs Department. He finished his working career at the Henry County Recycling Center. He had formerly worked for TWRA as a wildlife officer. His hobbies included fishing, spending time with his family and friends, and duck hunting. He was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church in Springville.
Born September 19, 1955, in Dover, he was the son of the late Donald Lester Riggins and Joann Crain Riggins, who survives of Paris.
He married Sherron Smith Riggins December 2, 1997, who survives of Paris.
Along with his wife, survivors include his 4 children, Ashley Lauren Riggins of Cleveland, TN, Shawna Raeann Riggins of Paris, Lester Williams “Will” (Mandy) Riggins of Buchanan, and Tyler Riggins of Big Sandy; a sister, Teri (Rookie) Edwards of Paris; and four grandchildren, Maddie Rose Riggins, Emily Tyler Riggins, Zayden Ross, and Radek Williams Riggins.
Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St./ PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242, is handling the arrangements. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at 10 am at Hillcrest Memorial Park conducted by Craig Peevyhouse.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jeff Smith, Rookie Edwards, Chip McLean, Chad Cox, Stan Veazey, and Randy Gean.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
