Lesa Jo Waggoner

Lesa Jo Waggoner, age 54 of Mansfield, TN, died Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, TN.

She retired as an accounting assistant for Loretta Lynn’s Dude Ranch in Hurricane Mills, TN.  She was a former district manager over distribution for the Tennessean newspaper.  Lesa was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church in New Johnsonville, TN.  She loved to ride and raise horses.

Lesa was born June 21, 1965, in Camden, TN, to the late William Wayne “Bud” French and the late Jo Ann McClain French.

She was married September 2, 1983, to Jeffrey S. “Scotty” Waggoner, who survives of Mansfield, TN.

Along with her husband, she is also survived by one son, Michael (Brittany) Waggoner of New Johnsonville, TN; two sisters, Resa Sanders of Mansfield, TN, and Teresa (Steve) Norwood of Mansfield, TN; one granddaughter, Kathryn Jolyn Waggoner; and two step-grandchildren, Sawyer Culp and Aaron Culp.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Thomas Wayne “Tuck” French.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN.  Visitation will be Thursday, July 18, 2019, from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, and continue Friday, July 19, 2019, from 9:00 am – 11:00 am.  The funeral service will be Friday, July 19, 2019, at 11:00 am at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Wade, Ronnie Wilson, Richard Waggoner, Dale McClain, Tommy French, and Michael Riordan.  Named as an honorary pallbearer is Jason Thompson.

Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Camden, TN.
