Leroy Bennett

Finise Leroy Bennett, age 74, of Puryear, Tenn., died Tuesday, November 18, 2014, at Murray Calloway Co. Hospital in Murray, Ky.

He was married June 9, 1968 to Linda Fay Duncan Bennett and she survives.

He retired from Kenlake Foods in Murray, KY and was a Member of Hazel Baptist Church and a US Army veteran.

He was the son of the late Jessie Bennett and Moline Thorne Bennett, who lives in Hazel, Ky.

He is also survived by two sons,Trevor (Erin) Bennett of Puryear, Tenn., and Troy (Teresa) Bennett of Puryear, Tenn.   Two sisters: Linda (David) Belcher of Benton, Ky. and Brenda (Glenn) Maley of South Carolina;  Two Brothers, Hughes (Hilda) Bennett of Puryear, Tenn. and Paul Bennett of Puryear, Tenn.  He also leaves two grandchildren: Duncan and Hailey Bennett, both of Puryear, TN.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 4 - 8 pm Wednesday, November 19, 2014 and from 11 am - 1 pm on Thursday, November 20, 2014.    The funeral service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Thursday, November 20, 2014.

Chad Kennedy and William Jones will officiate.

Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery near Puryear, Tenn.
