Leon Turner

Thomas Leon Turner, age 72 of Paris, TN, died Sunday, June 4, 2017 at the Henry County Medical Center in Paris, TN.
Leon was a member of East Union Baptist Church in Beech Bluff, TN. He was a retired lineman from AT & T. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and was an avid John Wayne fan. Leon was a Vietnam Veteran who served in the US Navy.
Born July 22, 1944, in Trenton, TN, he was the son of the late Vernon Turner and the late Helen Christine Walker Turner.
He is survived by one daughter: Angie (Dennis) Vaughn of Paris, TN; one son: David (Stephanie) Turner of Bloomington, Minnesota; six grandchildren: Jordan Vaughn, Joe Dennie, Adilynn Vaughn, Morgan Turner, Malory Turner and Mackenzie Turner; and one nephew: Ronnie Ray of Gleason, TN.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Brenda Turner.
His body is to be cremated with a Celebration of Life Service to be held at his home on June 20, 2017, with all family and friends to be invited.
