Lena Priddy

Lena Ruth Priddy, age 80, of Paris, Tenn., died Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, Tenn.

She was married November 4, 1950 to James H. Priddy, and he survives.   Ruth was a Member of Springhill Baptist Church.   She formerly worked at Mitchum Company and last worked at Emerson Electric Co.

She was born January 22, 1934 in Paris, TN the daughter of the late Buster Cox and the late Willie Sullivan Cox.

Besides her husband, Ruth is also survived by her Four Daughters,  Bonnie (David) Eldridge of Paris, Tenn,  Patty Alexander of Paris, Tenn,  Donna (Johnny) Jones of Wilmer, Ala,  Kathy (Steve) Looney of Paris, Tenn,  One Son,  Larry (Michele) Priddy of Hendersonville, Tenn,   One Sister,  Barbara (Charles) Capps of Lebanon, Tenn,  One Brother,  Steve (Jo Ann) Cox of Paris, Tenn;  Grandchildren, Corey (Jenny) Eldridge, Jordan Eldridge, Justin Hosford, Farrah (Andy) Salmon, Paul Hosford, Jeffrey (Jessica) Ellis, Jacob Wilson, Katelyn Wilson, Olivia Looney, Ryan Priddy, Andrew Priddy, Michael Eldridge, Kevin Jones, Kristen (Joey) Campbell;  and Eight Great Grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by;  sister, Mary Francis Steele; and a grandchild, Brendon Priddy.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St.,  Paris, Tenn., where visitation will be after 11 am Saturday, June 28, 2014 with the funeral service at LeDon Chapel of  Ridgeway Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 28, 2014.

Paul Veazey will officiate.   Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Interment will be at Walker Cemetery on Highway 69 North of Paris, Tenn.
