Lemuel Muzzall, age 83, of Paris, Tenn., died Monday, February 8, 2016, at the Paris Henry County Clinic in Paris, Tenn.
Lemuel formerly worked in maintenance at the Clippard Plant, Ellis Heating Co. and the Paris Henry County Clinic. He was a member of First Baptist Church where he belonged to the Friendship Sunday school class and was a former deacon. He was also a member of the Paris Masonic Lodge #108 where he was a 32nd degree Mason, Shriner, Knights Templar and a member of the Eastern Star. He enjoyed mowing and working on the family farm in Mansfield.
He was born May 9, 1932 in Mansfield, TN to the late James Maurice Muzzall and the late Mable Norwood Muzzall. He married Barbara Smith Muzzall June 19, 1954, and she survives.
He is also survived by his one Daughter, Sonia (Mark) Tighe of Tampa, Fla; one Son, Jim (Margarita) Muzzall of Arlington, Va; one Sister, Judy (Mike) Garner of Paris, Tenn; four Grandchildren, Sean Tighe, Ashley Tighe, Rafael Muzzall, and Fiorella Muzzall.
Besides his Parents, he was also preceded in death by Sisters, Margaret Jean Muzzall and Patsy Muzzall.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 4 – 7 pm Wednesday, February 10, 2016 and from 1 – 2 pm Thursday, February 11, 2016. The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 2:00 pm Thursday, February 11, 2016.
Dr. Trent Bullock will officiate. Pallbearers will be Chris Caldwell, Bruce Hooper, Russ Wimberley, Grant Norwood, Kenneth Askew, and Sean Tighe. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gordon Owen, Carroll Lashlee, The Masons, and members of the Friendship Sunday School Class.
Interment will be at Memorial Cemetery in Paris, Tenn.
