Larry R. Ainscough, age 78 of Puryear, TN, died Monday, May 13, 2019, at Paris Healthcare Center in Paris, TN.
He retired after many years as a self-employed mechanic and contractor. Larry was a former drag racer who loved cars and enjoyed working on cars. He was Protestant by belief.
Larry was born April 13, 1941, in Akron, OH, to the late James Edward Ainscough and the late Clara Ann Myers Ainscough.
He was married November 6, 1959, to his wife of 59 years, Nancy Diane Sellers Ainscough, who survives, of Puryear, TN.
Along with his wife, he is also survived by one daughter, Traci (Joe) Collins of Henry, TN; four sons, Kevin Ainscough of Paris, TN, Eric Ainscough of Paris, TN, Jeff Ainscough of Paris, TN, and Perry Ainscough of Murray, KY; one sister, Janice Popa of Oklahoma; 22 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one daughter, Cheri Michelle Ainscough; two sisters, Patsy Crano and Lorraine Bush; and three brothers, Jimmy Ainscough, Donald Ainscough, and Richard Ainscough.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN. Visitation will be at Jesus Saves Baptist Church, 65 Johnson Lane, Buchanan, TN 38222 on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm. The funeral service will be Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Jesus Saves Baptist Church, with Pastor Joe Collins officiating.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
Burial will be in Welborn Cemetery in Puryear, TN.
