Larry Roberts

Larry Joseph Roberts, age 70 of Puryear, TN, died Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
Larry attended Mill Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was a retired correctional officer from the State of Missouri Corrections. He was a US Marine veteran that served in Vietnam. He enjoyed mowing grass, working with tractors and anything outdoors.
Born in Red Bud, IL on June 7, 1947, he was the son of the late Richard Roberts and Clara Breeding Lindhorst of Smithton, IL.
Larry was married on June 28, 1969 to Sharon Gail Jones Roberts and she survives of Puryear, TN. Besides his mother and wife, he is also survived by one sister, Linda (Lee) Bickner of IL; two brothers, Harry Roberts of IL, and Clarence Lindhorst of IL; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN. He is to be cremated with a Celebration of Life Service to be held at a later date.
