Lawrence “Larry” Moore, age 80, died Friday, August 25, 2017, at the St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN.
Born April 20, 1937, in Pueblo, Colorado, he was the son of the late Lewqinlus “Quin” Moore and the late Wilhelmina “Winnie” Sindermann Moore. Larry married Sandra Crockett Moore March 29, 1970, who survives and lives in Paris.
He retired from the United States Air Force after serving 20 years. Larry owned and operated Larry Moore and Associates, a consulting firm for business improvement. Larry was a published author of several books and a column writer for the Paris Post Intelligencer for over 10 years. He was a member of the First Christian Church.
Besides his wife, survivors include two daughters: Susan Moore of Denver, CO and Summer Moore and husband Tony Glazer of New York, New York; two brothers: Robert “Bob” Moore of Pueblo, CO and Quinn Moore, Jr. of Westminster, CA and his beloved cat Mini.
Along with his parents, Larry was preceded in death by a sister: Betty Lou Samarin.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 11, 2017, at 2 p.m. in LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home with memorial visitation beginning at 12 p.m. Cory Glover will officiate the service.
