Larry Hicks

Larry David Hicks, age 62 of Puryear, TN, died Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at Nashville Community Care & Rehabilitation Center at Bordeaux in Nashville, TN.

He was a Henry County High School Class of 1974 graduate and a U.S. Navy veteran.  Larry was a member of the Boy Scouts of America, reaching the rank of Eagle Scout, and a member of the Order of the Arrow Brotherhood of the Boy Scouts of America.  He was a lifetime HVAC technician.

Larry was born September 21, 1956, in Paris, TN, to the late Robert Nolan Hicks and the late Anne McClure Reynolds.

He is survived by one daughter, Deidre (Alex) Lopez of Phoenix, AZ; two sons, Aaron (Teresa) Hicks of Phoenix, AZ, and Joshua Brode of Phoenix, AZ; one brother, Gary Stephan “Steve” Hicks of Puryear, TN; and seven grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN.   The funeral service will be Thursday, October 25, 2018, at 1:30 pm at the Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at Parkers Crossroads Rotunda in Wildersville, TN, with Ronnie McClure officiating.

Burial will follow the service in the Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at Parkers Crossroads in Wildersville, TN.
