Kevin Scott Plaisance

Kevin Scott Plaisance, age 59 of Buchanan, TN, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2018, at his residence in Buchanan, TN.

Kevin was born February 18, 1959, in New Orleans, LA, to the late Gerald Plaisance and Loretta Landwehr of Gretna, LA.

He was married August 7, 1999 to Cindy Zeller Plaisance, formerly of St. Louis and now residing in Tennessee.

He is survived by his mother, wife, and two daughters, Adelaide Plaisance of Buchanan, TN, and Cecilia “Kat” Plaisance of Buchanan, TN; one sister, Pam Plaisance (Gerald) of New Orleans, LA; two uncles, Donald (Lola) Plaisance of New Orleans, LA and Kenny (Toni) Landwehr of Thibodaux, LA; and one aunt, Wanda Barrios of Marrero, LA.

In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Brian Savoy.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St. Paris, TN. The body is to be cremated with a memorial service to be held Friday, September 14, at 12:15 p.m. at Seven Holy Founders 6737 S. Rock Hill Road, St. Louis, MO 63123. Visitation with the family will begin at 11:00 a.m.

Cremains will be entombed at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery 2900 Sheridan Rd. in St. Louis, MO, 63125, at 1:30 PM.  Everyone is welcome, but there will be no procession.  Please meet at the front gates.

Kevin was a loving father and husband.  He enjoyed spending quality time with his family, playing games, and telling life stories. Kevin was an avid fan of the New Orleans Saints, LSU Tigers, and St. Louis Cardinals.  He formerly worked in the oil and trucking field in New Orleans as well as in sales in St. Louis.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran who was Catholic by faith.
