Kerri Gale Thornton

Kerri Gale Thornton beloved mother, wife, sister, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2024, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee, surrounded by her loving family. 

She was born on April 17, 1963, in Muskegon, Michigan. Kerri is survived by her devoted husband, Larry Thornton of Camden, Tennessee; her two cherished children, her eldest, Richard (Ryanne) Webber of Roswell, Georgia, and her youngest, Jessica Sanders (David) Mitchell of Springville, Tennessee; one grandson, Noah David Mitchell, who brought immense joy to Kerri's life. 

 Kerri was preceded in death by her parents Jean Bain Allen and Fred Allen; her two siblings, twin brother Gary Allen, her sister Misti Ramsey. She was a source of love and support for her family, and her spirit will continue to live on in their hearts. Kerri adored her grandson Noah and her two fur babies, Buddy and Shorty, who were always by her side. 

Kerri was loved infinitely by her family and friends, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. We invite you to join us in celebrating her life, sharing the good times, love and memories along the way. 

Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St./P.O. Box 788, Paris, TN 38242, will be handling the arrangements. Visitation will be held Friday, October 18, 2024, from 4 until 7 pm and continue Saturday, October 19, 2024, after 9 am until the time of the service. Her funeral service will be held Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 11 am at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Chad Kennedy officiating. 

Burial will follow the service in Poplar Grove Cemetery in Springville, TN.
