Kenneth Nelson Gray, age 81 of Paris, TN, died Thursday, August 17, 2017, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, TN.

He worked as a Quality Control Supervisor at Holley Carburetor Plant for 32 years.  He then was employed at Henry County Medical Center where he worked in maintenance until he retired.  He was formerly in the National Guard.  He was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church, the Springville Masonic Lodge, and the Order of the Eastern Star.  He enjoyed golf, fishing, dove hunting, playing cards and was a life-long blood donor.

Kenneth was born October 22, 1935, in Springville, TN, in the Old 23 rd District, to the late Edmond Gray and the late Beulah McDaniel Gray.

He was married November 25, 1958 to Joyce Turner Gray, who preceded him in death on December 3, 2012.

He is survived by one son, Tracy (Debbie) Gray of Paris, TN; five grandchildren, Candi (Gervis) Gallimore, Jason Madden, Riley Gray, Ross Gray, and Lacey (Jordan) Smith; four great grandchildren, Kaine Gallimore, Kaden Weaver, Kenslee Weaver, and Kolton Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by one son, Mike Gray; and several brothers and sisters.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN, where visitation will be Saturday, August 19, 2017, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm, with a Masonic Service to begin at 7:00 pm.  Visitation will continue Sunday, August 20, 2017, from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be Sunday, August 20, 2017, at 2:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Emily Walker officiating.

Pallbearers for the service will be Ross Gray, Kaine Gallimore, Gervis Gallimore, Ronnie Burnett, Todd Scanlan, and Ray Lewis.

Burial will follow in Bethesda Cemetery in Paris, TN.
