Kay Green, age 72, of Paris, Tenn., died Tuesday, October 4, 2016, at Henry County Healthcare Center in Paris, Tenn.
She was a member of East Wood Church of Christ and former sitter. She enjoyed caring for others and was the caregiver for her parents for several years. Kay was a member of TOPS. She enjoyed crocheting, and in her younger years enjoyed skiing, bowling, and playing Rook.
Kay was born September 10, 1944 in Paris, TN, the daughter of the late Sedrick Chandler and the late Beatrice "Bea" Jeans Chandler.
She was married on December 31, 1966 to Kevin Bruce Green and he preceded in death on February 29, 2000. She is survived by her one daughter, Kevina Green of Ringgold, Ga; one son, Kevin L. (Tracy) Green of Great Pond, Maine; and grandchildren, Abbie Green, Daniel Green and Alex Green.
Besides her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her half brother, Wesley Dwin Franks.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, Tenn where the visitation will be from 1 – 3 pm Friday, October 7, 2016. The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 3:00 pm Friday, October 7, 2016 with John W. Dale and Dennis Johnson officiating. Pallbearers will be Jerry Scarbrough, Michael Williams, Aaron Hutson, Charlie Neal, Wess Knee, and Steve Delaney.
Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Paris, Tenn.
