Kathy Mae Fuchs

Kathy Mae Fuchs, age 79 of Paris, TN, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. 

She was born September 25, 1945, to the late Francis Edward Rogers and the late Minnie Bucy Rogers. 

She later married Billy Fuchs, who preceded her in death. 

Kathy was a devoted member of Mt. Zion Church of Christ. She dedicated 30 years of her life working at Odom's Grocery and Lakeway IGA, where she cherished building relationships with her customers. Kathy had a passion for gardening, shopping with her grandkids, cross-stitching, reading, and most of all, watching her granddaughters play soccer and basketball.

She is survived by her two children, Richie (Carla) Bomar of Paris, TN, and Sherry (David) Capps of Deer Creek, IL; one brother, Jerry Dennis Rogers of Paris, TN; six grandchildren, Wayne (Janie) McBride, J.R. (Amanda) McBride, Jacob (Amber Collier) Capps, Cheyenne Capps, Ella Bomar, and Ava Kate Bomar; and nine great-grandchildren, with a tenth great-grandchild to arrive in the near future. 

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Tex Edward Rogers. 

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. Visitation will be Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Ridgeway Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Tom Sisco officiating. 

Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Church of Christ Cemetery, Puryear, TN, with West Cook, Jackson Cassidy, Mike Rogers, Mark Pritchett, Chuck Wade, and Shannon Bethune serving as pallbearers.
