Katherine Hollar

A graveside service for former factory worker Katherine “Kitty” Patterson Hollar was scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Joe Walker Sr. was to officiate.

No visitation was scheduled. Ridgeway Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Hollar, 85, died Monday, June 10, 2013, at Henry County Healthcare Center.

Born May 5, 1928, in Paris, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Lilly Agee Patterson.

Her husband, Sterling Hollar, preceded her in death.

She formerly worked at Holley carburetor plant in Paris and the Jockey Factory in Carlisle, Ky. A family member said she enjoyed dancing and water skiing.

She leaves two sons: John Wayne (Vicki) Gibson of Springville and Ronnie Gibson and special friend Sandy Harvell of Palmyra; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two special friends: Carol McCuiston and Ulli Vaughn.
