Karen Anderson

Karen Renea Anderson, age 66 of Cottage Grove, TN, died Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.

She retired from Kroger then went on to work part-time at Harrelson School in the cafeteria.  Karen enjoyed working puzzles, doing mission work with the church, and being with her family.  She was a member of Birds Creek Baptist Church in Paris.

Karen was born December 1, 1955, in St. Louis, MO, to the late Clarence Harold Allen and the late Ruby Inez Lynch Allen.

She was married November 22, 2000, to John H. Anderson, who preceded her in death on May 28, 2019.

She is survived by three brothers, Brian Allen of Buchanan, TN, Harry (Helen) Allen of Desloge, MO, and Steve Allen of Williamsville, MO; four nieces, Chelsey (Brandon) King, Christy (John) Zawodniak, Adrienne Michelle, and Kathy Mullins; one nephew, Kendall Allen; and six great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Kevin Allen.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  The body is to be cremated with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
