June Parker, age 65 of Johnston City, Illinois. died Saturday October 1, 2016 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN surrounded by family.

June was born June 10, 1951 in Poplar Bluff, MO, to Beauford and Thelma Brown of Dexter, MO.

June was a member of the church of Christ, an avid gardener, and owner of Nettysue’s Niche, an online outlet for antique collectibles as well as her own custom-made jewelry.

She married Horace Parker on August 17, 1982 and he survives of Johnston City, IL. They shared a love of Christ and their blended family. The couple operated a small business, Looking Glass Prairie Antiques.

She is also survived by parents, Beauford and Thelma Brown of Dexter, MO; two daughters, Jennifer Ash of Akron, OH; and Deborah Parker of Paducah, KY; three sons, Timothy Parker of Chicago, IL; Andrew (Julie) Parker of GraysLake, IL.; Brian Parker of Carbondale, IL; one sister, Barbara (Oliver) Wick of Holly Springs, MS; four Grandchildren, Casey Ash, Zoe Yoho, Dillon Yoho, and Payton Parker; one Great Grandchild, Braylen Ash.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St. P.O. Box 788, Paris TN where the family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Saturday October 8, 2016. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00p.m. Saturday, October 8, 2016, at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home.  Interment will be in the Van Dyke Church of Christ Cemetery in Paris, TN. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be sent to Van Dyke Church of Christ cemetery fund, ℅ Terry Wilkinson, 3530 Van Dyke, Paris, TN 38242.
