Judith Carol "Judy" Geurin Belyew

Judith Carol “Judy” Geurin Belyew, age 75 of Big Sandy, TN, died Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at her residence.  

She retired from Henry County Circuit Court Clerk’s office.  She enjoyed growing flowers, gardening, and housekeeping.  Judy was a very Godly woman who loved her family dearly.  She was a member of Ramble Creek Baptist Church.

Judy was born October 12, 1948, in Springville, TN, to the late Ray Geurin and the late Albertine Campbell Geurin.

She was married April 11, 1984, to Terrence L. “Terry” Belyew, who survives, of Big Sandy, TN.

Along with her husband, she is also survived by one son, Kyle (Jess) Belyew of Bath Springs, TN; one sister, Wanda Hamm of Paris, TN; one brother, Malcolm Geurin of Camden, TN; and two grandchildren, Alli Gatlin and Emery Belyew.    

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  Visitation will be Wednesday, November 29, 2023, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, and continue Thursday, November 30, 2023, from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm.  The funeral service will be Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 12:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Greg Eaton and Bobby Sanders officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Zach Phifer, Jerrod Phifer, Jacob Ray, Tommy Tinin, Tim Rowand, and Adam Potts.

Burial will be in Poplar Grove Cemetery in Springville, TN.
